rapid growth. Company struggles to find immediate staffing
solution and maintain infrastructure within budget constraints.
Puzzler:
How can a new company build a IT infrastructure according to growth and
be cost effective.
Discovery:
Dimension sent a temporary IT staff of five consultants to the client to
perform initial evaluation, deployment, training, and support of the
client's network. After the installation of the network, Dimension
advised a retainer scheme; whereby client paid an agreed monthly fee
that guaranteed them the services of an appointed IT consultant who
would perform all functions of maintaining, support, troubleshooting and
training of staff.
Advantages:

receives immediate assistance from trained, experienced professionals.
Client does not have to take time from revenue generating activities to
perform hiring and payroll HR duties. One monthly fee instead of a
fee per Head recruited.

Brief:
Med - Large sized company's call center, growing at alarming rate, needs
help transferring equipment and assets to larger facility.
Puzzler:
How to disassemble and reassemble network to minimize downtime.
Discovery:
Dimension, concerned with the maintaining the smooth operation of the
client, sent a temporary staff team of computer professionals to handle
this company's project. The IT team divided the call center in
thirds and moved each third of the call center during late evening, off
peak hours. After each move the network was reassembled, tested,
and monitored in the new location.
Advantages:

streamline the sales and support to the customer. Determine the
best way to ensure that future IT issues can be handled in a timely
manner
Discovery:
Dimension sent multiple IT teams to handle this project. Each team
was composed of professionals with desktop software support experience.
The teams were dispatched to each of the locations where the teams handled
the company wide update paying attention to details of data security and
migration, limiting downtime, and employee training. At the
conclusion of the project the Client Company decided the best way to
maintain their IT infrastructure was to permanently hire some of the
consultants of the project.
Advantages:
The Client Company received a immediate working staff of IT
professionals. Time was not spent on hiring, training and
evaluating and staff. The project could be completed quickly
saving the client time and money. The Client Company was able to
have a working evaluation of the consultants to determine the need for
